Stars on the Lake

The Iowa Landscape Collection is a set of five scenes inspired by Clear Lake, Iowa. Phoebe’s goal was to capture the serene, nostalgic character of the lake town while also incorporating rich textures and playful colors. Three of the scenes depict the lake with deep blues and rippling water created with thin strips of paper. The final two scenes are of rural Iowa, featuring a classic red barn, rolling green hills, the state bird (Goldfinch), and the state flower (Prairie Rose).
