Phoebe has created two hypothetical book cover redesigns as part of her design explorations.

The first is for the cover of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein.” Putting a darker twist on her usual whimsical, paper-cut style, Phoebe created a cover jacket and interior illustration depicting Frankenstein’s monster.

The second cover redesign is for “The Secret Life of Bees,” written by Sue Monk Kidd.

Not only do these works showcase the versatility of Phoebe’s collage illustrations, but also her skill with typography and layouts, resulting in two designs you can’t help but pull from the shelf.
